Hi Friends!
You know my reading has slowed when I have to pull out one of these top picks blogs. I’m reading, I promise, but with the movie filming, I haven’t been able to get my hundred pages in every night. Most of the time I’m too exhausted to read or I’m spending the time analyzing movies - hence the recent movie reviews.
Here’s the other issue… I might have fallen into a hole. A manga sized hole. It all started last Christmas when my husband and I decided to do the Icelandic tradition and exchange books on Christmas Eve. And because I didn’t want him to mess up my thoughtfully constructed TBR list - not that I’ve even stuck to it this year - and we wanted to finish the books that night, we decided to try Manga. It was fun. It was different. It was a horrible idea.
On top of being a completely addicted monster, I’m also a well fed monster thanks to my friend. She owns her weight in manga books. So much that I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to read it all. After she found out that I started to read Manga, she gave me over 30 volume ones to read. And when she found out which series I loved, she sent me home with the rest of them, a total of 85 books. All to borrow. She would never part with her babies.
So ya…. It’s become a problem.
Unless you want to become an addict like me, turn away now. I warned you.
Anyways, with my new found knowledge, I’ve decided to share the series that I’m addicted to right now. Maybe I’ll do a full review for each series when I’m done.
Happy Reading
