Review Policy
Publishers and self publishing authors can request a review through my email (darksideoftheword@gmail.com), but I reserve the right to refuse to review a book. All reviews will be in my usual style of writing and will be posted in Goodreads as well. I promise to always be honest in my reviews.

Reasons
As stated above, I refuse to review any book. This is the best for you, because chances are, the review won’t be positive. There are books in all genres that I will refuse and those are the exception to the rule. It always depends on the book itself. I don’t want to waste either of our time.
Formats and Time-line for Review
I’m happy to accept print or e-books for Kindle. Print books are preferred because they’re easier to feature on my instagram, and most of the time, they’ll be pushed to the top of the list. Depending on my reading schedule when I receive the book, I do try and work with you on getting the review out at the best possible time. The average turn around is two weeks from receiving a book. For new releases, my goal is to have the book review out the Friday after release.
My Rating
1 star - I struggled to finish the book and was bored with the plot and characters. The book felt like a waste of my time. There were fatal flaws.
2 star - The book was not for me, but it was essentially okay.
3 star - I liked the book but it was okay. I didn’t crave it or really love it either.
4 star - Good but it was missing that thing to push it over the edge. I might still recommend it depending on the person.
5 star - I’m rushing to add this book to my collection. I will bug everyone about it and even scream it from the rooftop.
