Hello Friends!
Another year has passed us by, which means that it’s time for another recap post. Below I’ve listed my top 9 reads from 2019. Nine you may ask… Well… It was 2019. There most definitely were not 19 books that I would rank as my all time favorite for the year, though there are a lot of honorable mentions, so I picked 9. It works. Go with me people.
You’ll also see that some of the books are from 2018 reviews. Kait, are you trying to pull one over us? No my friends. I actually reread them last year and loved them so much the second time that they’ve made it on this very coveted list. That is quite one feat.
And as I alluded to in my last post, there are going to be a few changes around here. I’m not going to be reading as much due to my new job, so I’ll be mixing in movie reviews. I’m really excited about this because I LOVE movies and most of my circle is tired of my ramblings. Now, I’m just going to bore you with all the random thoughts that I have. Just don’t get me started on the latest Star Wars movie.
I hope that everyone has a fun and safe year and that all your dreams come true.
Happy Reading
Love Kait
Reading Challenge: 1/60 (Yes, I already have one book done. Thank you Manga. The only reason that I actually met my goal last year.)

Cass was given a second chance on a family when she was adopted at six weeks old. Eighteen years later and thoughts about her birth mother have started to creep into her head. Who was the woman that gave her up? Where does she ultimately come from? People have always said she looks just like her adopted mother, confusing her as their real child, but she didn’t come from them. She came from someone else. When Cass’s adoptive mother needs a new heart and the doctors don’t think she’ll make it much longer, she tells Cass about letters her birth mother wrote to her before she was born. Letters that could finally answer all the questions. In the search though, Cass worries that she’s not seeing the family right in front of her eyes.
